in my eyes, keith haring, (may.4 1958 – february 16.1990) was one of the best artists ever lived, responding to the graffiti which arose in NYC and therefore being one of the main influences for my art.



his bold lines & bright colours which create active figures carrying strong messages of his environment, life and unity simply blow my mind.
it's not just the work represented on walls that is outstanding though, in fact his whole fashion that is worn out on the streets delivers certain messages and creates atmospheres that result in happiness jsut looking at it.

after he was born in reading, pennsylvania (USA), haring developed an early interest in art. he studied graphic design at the "Ivy School of Professional Art" in Pittsburgh from 1976-1978, but shortly after that, when keith was 19, he moved to new york city where his actual "career" started at the "School of Visual Arts" and where the establishment began to honor his work.



since then keith haring did everything possible to bring POP-ART to a next level, to display his work all over the globe and to enjoy his life to the fullest. in 1990 Haring sadly died due to AIDS-related complications.
